So i recently switched from dino oil to full synthetic, (168k miles) and my boost lowered... It went from 13lbs (Stock ct-26, stock injectors, stock afm, walboro 255, cooleze intake pipe, apexi filter, 2.5 inch hardpipes, spearco replica ic, turboxs mbc, wideband / boost / egt gauges, 3inch turbo bat catless... I think thats all my mods, oh MHG and arp studs) Anyways I changed from dino oil to full synthetic and my boost went from 13lbs to ilke 7-8 lbs. Could it be less rolling resistance on the turbo shaft, or did my boost controller decide to shit out or what? Im really... really confused. Any input would be a great help.

Hmm... Guess ill go build another boost leak tester cause i lost mine or it got stolen from me or somethin, also when i was driving when i noticed it, my boost gauge would climb normal up to like 9 lbs like nice and smooth, then once it hit 9 it instantly real quick would go to 8. Like it wouldnt fall off to 8, but SNAP back to 8 like instantly... It was weird. Thanks for replying on SF too poodles, but i think SM is more of a technical forum, so ill probably stick to the replies on here.

I'm actually suprised you are able to get a stable 13psi with the stock AFM and upgrade intake/IC/piping...

Fixed it. It was a vac line going from my speed controller thing to a T type thing. Thats the 2nd time that lines popped off, so i may throw a clamp on it. Thanks anyways guys.
