Boom Car Blew Up

I was up on a run with the car club and on the way back the motor got a really bad rod knock. i was about 5 mins away from the nearest store " I was out in the middle of no where". so i just took it slow and drove it to the store well like less then 500 feet from the store BOOM engine just shut off and peices go flying. so i get to the store and call a tow truck they say its going to be 300 dollars to get my car back to my house and it will be 3 hours till they can get there. F that so one of my friends had my good friend AAA FREE tow And they would be there in 3.5 hours i said ok wait 3.5 hours and get a free tow hell ya. waited and waited........ look at the block and see a whole the size of my fist in the side of the block. the motor isnt out yet but i got a new motor for $150 7mgte no more N/A hells ya. im building it and will put pictures up with the progress. i will also get some pics of the whole in the block as soon as i get the motor out.

Man, that sucks.
but glad that your not giving up on the supra, seems so many do these days.

WOW OMG that shit just happened to me (- the hole in the block) but prob have came soon. Lucky I made it to my house. And read down that guy was right alot of people do give up on there supe (I was almost one of them) But I think I will stay with it. thinking of 1j but I dont know maby 1uz (sc400 v8)

and this is why it blew up witch sucks because i was having way to much fun to have it blow up.




this is what we call the hella pad, its pavment but after time there has been alot of rock put on it from cars going up there. but it is really fun.

planing on it as long as the money keeps comin into my pockit. if not im just going to replace the bearing and all the gaskets. dp,ic,mhg,bc thats if the money stops coming in.

the 3rd one on this page or of the first page. jbweld works great but i think the motor would run funny with a rod missing. i was looking at the block a little closer and i think there is a hole on the other side of the block as well. good time i really fucked it up im going to go take some pics and post them up for you guys.
