Supracentral, I don't really know about the situation in Africa or any other poverty stricken countries. I never pretended to. I merely stated that I don't think it's o.k. for someone to want to kill a kid. You said that you think it's o.k. and you have three kids.(I don't remember your exact words) I just find it hard to believe a parent can say that, but whatever. I've found on here that it takes all types to represent a whole, and I am just another voice. I stick by my post though and will never agree with the killing of children.

However I've learned that more often than not, when you hear "for the children", some heavy bullshit is about to follow. Few people who take up that battle cry actually give a shit about anything but thier political goals.
That's fine with me, cause I've been laughed at most of my life. I can stomach that a whole lot easier than I can people wanting to hurt kids. I don't ever watch those Sally Struther commercials or any other wanting you to send money everywhere, knowing they'll be lucky to get a third of it. I do try and help local families here though. I live in a rural area with a lot of poor families. I'm not rich by any means, but I do help where I can, but I keep it local. I'm not out to save the world or anything. I just want to make it a little more pleasant for kids around here. I'm really glad this was a joke at my expense, and not serious ill feelings towards children in any country. I have removed the stick from my ass and feel alot more comfortable now...........lol
