So I have the famous rot over the rear fender on the passenger side, I was wondering what is the best method to fix this, what have you guys done?

lol....no worries. I spent ~600 on two used rear quarter panels. Buying new from the dealer would have been $650/side.

is the rust through the panel? is there any rust holes inside the inner fender well? If both of these are a yes, you would want to have the rust cut out and replacement panels welded in place.

yikes! i sold the rust free ones off my 92 for 70$ a piece!

from what I can see the inner fender is good its just the outside that has a rothole. here is a pic of the spot.

Only one way to do it, cut out the rust and use sheetmetal to rebuild it.
Costs less than getting the whole pannel, but it'sa pain in the ass and not many bodyshops like to do it.

yeah, I have a friend that has a shop, just been to lazt to go buy for a price. it is my daily driver, winter is coming up and I'm gonna looking for another daily.
