i want to check my car also, i heard of something called a chemical test, which tests the coolant for exhaust gases. is that what its called? i looked at my job and couldnt find anything called that.

called a block tester. you can rent the tool/kit from autozone and buy the chemical agent for $7. make sure the tool has not been pulled apart. You need an air tight seal
