BLow Off Valve / Compressor Surge Blew my

What is a good Blow off Valve that can hold up to 18lbs boost, and not vent into atmosphere?
Is this Blow off valve not worth it? Got it in a kit from ebay.

My compressor surge ruined my turbo, shaft had 1 inch shaft play! LOL. SCREWED my turbo.

MY BOV did not open ... AT ALL when i rev it. Why?? Broken? CRap?
What one should I buy?

It won't build boost but the bov should still open. Atleast most do.

What kind of bov?

Cheap eBay parts are junk. Gotta pay to play.

An original greddy type s works well recirculated. I agree on the eBay bov's not working that good, both the hks and greddy replicas were night and day difference from the authentics.

did you say what bov you have? I wouldnt go with a synapse tho, cool design/ technology but I hear they're a giant pain to get right. That's why I went tial.

Your Type S? Friend of mine and I both had one on our cars at the same time and swapped them for fun once (it didnt sound as amazing on his DSM for some reason). Both were identical, both had the stripped housings, and I'm pretty sure my diaphragm is shot or well on its way. That's why I'm doing the redesigned one group buy; I still love this stupid "ricey" thing, but I want it to work well too.
