There is a threaded hole in the block between the oil filter and the oil pressure sensor which i think is the oil feed hole for the turbo but im not sure cuz my GTE is NA at the moment. Ive been the to hardware store 5 times checking out different threaded plugs to plug it for now but i cant find the right thread size to fit it, i know its a M12 of some sort but i dont know the thread pitch, can anyone help me out with this? thanks much!

I went down a similar road you're on. I had to plug a oil port in my block. Ended up being 10x1.0 metric thread. you're probly gonna be 10 or 12x1.0. I couldn't find anyone with a brass plug, so I used a steel fitting off like an intake manifold and cut the hose nipple off and welded the hole shut real well. Put 1 wrap of Teflon tape on it and i'm done. no leaks.

ok i found an old bolt off my old motor that threads perfectly, its the old head bolt... I cleaned it up real well and screwed it in but im wondering if its possible to go in too far... Will it go in too far and block another hole in the block or will the threads end soon enough and i can tighten it? thanks again
