He means just what he said and he's right. In a life time of working on cars I've come across only a handful that require bleeding and on those the cooling system configuration makes the need obvious. This car isn't one of them. In 20 years of owning mine I've never had to bleed it. Not once. Nor have I had to do it on any other Supra I've serviced.
I don't doubt some people have air but it's not from an inherent flaw in the cooling system design. More like leaks, indiscriminate/unintelligently done cooling mods, improperly installed thermostat, bhg, ect. Regardless, stating all cooling systems need burping is just wrong. If you don't want air in there to begin with fill the system properly. That means slowly. Even if air gets in it'll be automatically purged as long as everything is working right. Or vacuum fill it, which what I do these days.
