Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I asked about black supra production #'s, and since then I have been searching for my supra! Anyways, as someone pointed out, black supras aren't that rare, but anyone that has one is not willing to sell it :cry: In the past few weeks I have come across an ungodly amount of red and white supras for sale, a dark blue, brown, silver, pretty much every color, and even 3 teal ones! Two of the teals were even 92's...Good thing i have patience!:biglaugh:

I can tell by your post, you are getting impatient. Wat a while for the right car to come along. Trust me, you can find exactly what you want if you are patient.
I waited 6 months and never found a black manual. I found a black auto but I just wasn't going to settle for that, I wanted a manual trans. SInce then, the red my grown on me a lot but i'd trade my red for a black anyday.

Man, I would of waited for a black Supra too, but I found mines for a pretty god deal and didn't have much money to play with at the time. Good luck on the search and keep us posted.

Wait a bit or pay for it. I waited 2yrs until i found the one right for me and still wasnt exactly what I was searching for. I wanted an 89+ turbo 5spd in any color but black and ended up with a black 87 5spd turbo but it was too nice and a steal for what I paid for it.
i had a chance to buy a black 91 grey leather he wanted 2k for it and it had rodknock plus i would of had 2 trailor it like 100+ miles...so i just waited couple months longer and a supra around the corner went up for sale so i bought it...
i know a friend of mine thats about to put his 90 black greay leather 5spd targa turbo for sale so i might hope on it cause ive always wanted a black supra also

Yep, I'm in Columbus. I'm around the Ohio State area every so often.
i traded my tercel for a black supra 5spd, turbo with targa, needs a bit of body work tho, and came with factory and 17 inch motegi black rims, motor needed a bit of work but that didnt hold me back, now the car is running good. just take your time looking for things, it will get there some time if not, you could always paint the car black

The only reason I got a mk3 over a mkiv or a kouki S14 was because it was a black turbo 5spd.. it was sitting in one of the lesser parts of a neighboring town, and I paid too much for it then especially being that it was rod-knocked and had a decent amount of miles on the clock.. this car is my favorite though and that will likely never change.

I have current plans to sell my black 90T targa before the summer since I have no time to enjoy it. The car used to be owned by NJsupraA70.
I hardly use it and have only put in ~8K miles since I bought it from him (2006) b/c of my two young kids and had to settle with an accord wagon until I get a minivan for the family.
Installed a brand new Power steering (didnt come with it when purchased), EGR system, and A/C system (new fittings). Recently added Brembo blanks with Porterfield R4S pads all around with Goodridge SS brake lines.
