The other Day i Hit My Down Pipe Really Hard Against Something Now When i go to run my car The Exhaust Shoots out coolant not just White smoke But Large Droplets of coolant that can coat your hand in just a second or teo I also See coolant leaking from where my Turbo and Down Pipe Join. I just did my HG could it realy be leaking that bad from there or is it something with the turbo?

could it be possible that he hit the dp hard enough that it jarred the exhaust housing and bent the turbo breaking the compressor housing and allowing coolant to run into the turbo????!!!!

That sounds totally impossible... but who knows

how hard is "really hard" did you take the sucker off of a 20ft ramp or did you hit a speed bump to hard. if its coming out from within the turbo perhaps hg didnt seal, is it leeking outside of the turbo too?

Does coolant circulate in the turbo also? I would think that's where it's coming from. Or possibly the violent jerkign of hte turbo hit the coolant passage under the manifold, that long big pipe. Maybe it's damaged or knocked loose?

Sounds like he might have hit the downpipe hard enough to break the seal on the head gasket. Seeing as downpipe->turbo->manifold->head it's possible that a hard enough jolt could rattle stuff enough to break the seal.

Sounds like your headgasket just didn't seal good. Have you been loosing coolant out onto the intercooler from the overflow reservoir?

I lost a little bit of coolant on to the intercooler.

With what everyone is saying broken HG again but when I blew my HG Before i did not have coolant spewing out of the Exhaust like this. I mean I leave Huge Puddles on the ground from the back of the Exhaust and Dripping out drom the conection between the Turbo and the DP. Could the HG really be Leaking that bad? I am Tring to Avoid Tearing Everything Apart Again until i can figure out exactly what I did to my baby now.

If i did break a Seal in the Turbo is it something i can fix myself or do i have to send it off to be fixed and how much is that going to set me back?

Well Hard is Hard enough to take a chunck of Cement out from where i Hit But Not Hard Enough to Break the DP. By the Way it is a Cooleeze DP That thing is built pretty well even with the Blow it took it is still in one piece.

easy way to check temporarily disconect the coolant from ur turbo and bypass it that way no coolant flows thru it and it wont hurt it for trouble shooting purposes then if it is still shootin antifreeze out the tailpipe headgasket if it doesnt then u made god mad and he broke ur turbo lol

So i did do the Turbo Bypass Hose. Good news is that the Coolant stop flowing out of the Exhaust like a water gun. Bad news is after a few runs around the block. The Car Died on me.

I went to look under the hood and I see Milky Oil Coming out from my Intake and the intake as well as the bypass line Were Extremly Hot way to hot to the touch. Now this was maybe after 10 minutes of driving.

Plus when i took of my Oil Cap there was a crap load of milky coloured frothy oil almost like foam.

Now during the whole run my Temp Gauge never went above normal and the oil pressure was fine.

I even touched my Fluidyne Rad and the left side was just Warm while the right Side of it was Quite hot where the upper hose attaches to it.

I am starting to think that the water pump is toast and not flowing anything around the engine.

I only saw a bit of white smoke after i got the left overs out of the exhasut from the last run and only when i stop at a stop sign.

I am truly lost now. I am starting to think that my HG is still blown, the Turbo is Toast and the water pump as well. A JDM engine as a fresh start is surely looking allot better right now.

The best price i can find locally from a JDM engine suplier is $700 USD or $850 CAD plus i will have to pay someone to install it since i do not have the space or tools to do it. Is it worth it to do the switch or to try and fix what i got.

maybe you broke the inside of the turbo.....and the oil and water were mixing, as well as water leaking around into the exhaust......because if it quit blowing water when you d/c the turbo coolant lines, that must mean its the turbo......It's probably toast anyhow....take the dp and accordian hose off and look for cracks....

Extremly Frothy I have never seen oil that frothy before and this is not my first BHG.

Could the problem with the turbo have done that to the oil previously?

i cant imagine that the turbo would allow coolant into the oil, though, you never really know... sounds like a BHG has taken residence in your 7m:( i've never heard of someone losing a turbo like that, but it certainly doesnt cross it off the list.

damn....thats just a horrible way to blow a HG!!!

I thiink it was the downpipe pushing up the turbo and manifold and unsealing the headgasket in all.

basically pushed the head up....man..... :nono:
