If you can run the SAFC2 leaner then the AFM will send less voltage and up fuel cut. But of course this means you need a way of dumping in more fuel (ie AFPR). I don't see how your hitting it at 12psi with the lexus and 550s. With stock fuel pressure and a better fuel pump you should already be set lean on the SAFC2. You can try bypassing the J-tube on the fuel system or the 12v mod for the fuel pump. Sure no boost leaks or other odd conditions?

I say it's fuel cut, cause when I really get on it, it bogs down and sputters. The check engine light comes on for a second and then it goes off. If I don't just floor it, it won't do it. Only if I do 100% throttle. I have put new hoses on pracitically everywhere so I don't think I have a boost leak. I'm not saying that I don't, I just don't think so.

That sounds like a plan Aaron. I may have to do that. I know it defeats the purpose of the open downpipe, but at least my teeth won't rattle everytime I go to pass someone.

why not just cut and recirculate the WG Pipe? Like the standard BIC Closed DDP.

No antman, I don't have an afpr. If it will help with fc, I will order one tonight. .

If your running 550's than your using 25% more fuel. taking a chance of running the rail dry if your using the stock FPR. Imo, any time you upgrade injectors. You have to do the supporting mods too. ant.

That's not fuel cut. Fuel cut feels like a rev limiter and it is boost dependant, not throttle dependant, in a way. If you surpass the AFM voltage limit (read: airflow), you jolt back and a split second later it comes back on line. You have a boost leak whether you've found it yet or not. Some leaks are nearly impossible to find with the hose on the car. Boost leaks feel like shit, but fuel cut feels like a brick wall!

Thanks for the suggestions. By the way I'm not hitting it at 12.5 like I should be. I guess because of the ddp I'm making more boost. I watched my boost gauge a couple of times just a while ago and it was hitting 15 every time. I had my manual boost gauge set at 12.5 when I had it dynod. Now it's going past that. I looked at all my vacuum lines and hoses today and everyone seemed good and tight. I have replaced all my vacuum lines with silicone hoses. I have replaced my couplings with silicone couplings on my ic pipes. Maybe I can figure it out later. It's too hot here to stand out there all day just looking at it and listening for a leak. I'll try again tonight. Thanks again.
I do know what fuel cut feels like and your right, this does feel different. It doesn't do it everytime though, and it seems like if it was a boost leak, it would leak every time. Just thought I would add that.

If it feels like your car turns off for a split second, and you have a code 34, it's FC.
A ddp will turn the boost up all by itself ;)
