Randy is the sole reason Raptor Racing hasn't made any 3.5 inch systems.
His system is top notch, especially for the price, and there isn't any reason to put out another system when there is already a great one available!

I won't be going crazy with upgrades, but I don't wanna get the exhaust if its overkill.

MKIV guys put 4" exhaust with stock twins. After the turbo(s) the more air you flow the better.

there is a point when it becomes overkill though... 4'' exhaust on a 400hp car is stupid and serves no purpose... a 3'' would do it quieter and a whole lot cheaper.

Not everyone is as cheap as you from what you display. With a 4'' exhaust, there is room for upgrade.

rs4rush, damn, might want to ask Randy about giving you a discount on your next order, because of that pic you just posted. You just sold me on replacing the current custom 3.5" I have now with something MUCH nicer.

Gives you room to grow, not everyone wants to be at the same level forever. So why buy things twice?

i guess if you plan to out grow a 3'' exhaust... then just go 4'' as 3.5'' is not that much of a difference anyways... unless you just go straight to a 3.5'' exhaust from a stock exhaust.

and im not trying to be cheap, just logical, if a blitz exhaust will more than do the job, as with me any 3'' exhaust will as im not shooting for anything over 400ish then i see no point in buying a 3.5 or a 4'' exahust as it doesnt suit me, nor will it suit my car when its lowered.

i personally plan to buy a 240 exhaust system thats dual from the cat back, there on ebay for about 100+120 to ship, then hack it up to fit the supra, as IJ has proven that dual 2.5'' does more than just look cool.

and the cheaper comment is just that 935 has the DIY kit that if you just wanted a basic 3'' exhaust it would do the job for at least 50% of us. but there are some 3'' systems that cost way more than BIC's 3.5'', so i guess its all in what you are shooting for, and whether or not you care about how noisy the car will be going WOT down the street.

I just bought a stock 1990 Turbo and i like the Thunder but do i need to be running 400 + horsepower? Or will it run fine with the car just being stock?

Holy zombie thread!

Until you're making 500hp, any exhaust bigger than 3" is usually overkill- you are still efficient with 3" exhaust around 400hp. Just pick the sound you want- Tanabe hyper medallion for quiet, Apexi N1 for loud, and everything in between!

If you're asking "Will it hurt my performance?" then the answer is no. It's overkill, but it will not hurt the performance. If you do like it talk to Randy and see if he can make you a 3" version, that's what I had on my car and I loved it.
