Since u are a turbo car your turbo will create all the back pressure you will need.... so 3-3.5 inches will be fine. If you were NA you might lose a little power

It is not reccomended for an n/a, its way to big and will be VERY loud. I think it is the perfect balance between performance and sound. It will be restriction free for up to 650+ hp but not as loud and low hanging as a 4" system which is overkill for 95% of the mk3 owners. I run it on my 1jz and love it.

i may be bashed for this... but.

if you want a SS 3.5'' system ETS sells them, and they also will add any muffler you want, as i talked to them about it. i personally dont like BIC thunder back because it used aluminized steel...

^ Looks like the exhaust HPF use to sell AKA the Goliath which i owned but sold. It was a 4'' cat bat with a aero turbine muffler.

Good exhaust but not work the money, i only got mine cause i got it cheap as hell :) but let it go for even cheaper

i would just rather have SS as if you scrape it, no rust issues. if your lowered like i am, then you'd scrape a lot of that paint off and over time it would rust like an OEM exhaust...

and why was the goliath exhaust not worth the money? i remember when it FIRST came out... i wanted one so bad. hahaha ( and so did everybody else)

Well i just thought it wasn't worth it. Aero turbine mufflers can be had for cheap and you can create your own 3 to 4'' system for less then what it was worth. They listed it at $800 new. I got mine for way less then that directly from them.

the ets system is SS and can be had for about $600 without that ugly muffler... why does the BIC system cost JUST as much as is only made of aluminized steel?

you can buy 3.5'' aluminized steel through summitracing for under $200 to make a 3.5'' exhaust... but defintaley not SS.

I think he charges that much because 1) its good to go, just bolt it up, 2) he's supporting the MkIII community 3) his time and effort involved in manufacturing and distributing his product.

Summit doesnt appear to sell 3.5" piping, but you can still get it from assorted manufacturers. Yeah its much cheaper to get your own and DIY, but its easier to buy something tested and available.

I like the muffler, I don't think it's ugly. Randy does amazing work, if I didn't already have a 3.5" setup I'd buy one of his in a heartbeat.

I built my exhaust system, 3.5 turbo back, for less than $400, however, I have access to a fantastic fabricator who is a great friend... Not everyone has that option, and i think BIC makes a great product and will, at least, stand behind his product for quality and fitment... It bugs the shit outta me when people haggle like that and bash price for something so needed, all it does is irritate the fabricators and make them not wanna do stuff for us...

I haven't made Car parts for 10+ years for this very reason!

I do my own stuff and bits for close friends and that's it...

I havent looked, but I wouldnt be surprised if these were the same people that were complaining that there arent any aftermarket parts for our cars.

I honestly am (still) planning on starting to make all sorts of custom parts because I think it would be fun to do, even as a job. However, I think it will be a LONG LONG time before I mass produce parts for the A70 for this very reason.

I havent personally seen Randy's work, but from pictures analyzed and from customer reviews of his, I wouldnt hesitate to purchase it myself.
