i'm close to swapping a gte into my ge body pretty soon. while i'm swapping the engine i plan on upgrading the intake and a full 3" turbo back exhaust. i really want a BIC DDP but i've read a few threads that it might cause fuel cut real easy. i think it might have turned out to be just a boost leak. but would having a DDP cause fuel cut on a pretty much stock setup? i plan on doing other mods once the motor is broken in. like hardpipes, bov, mbc, fuel pump, afpr, injectors, and lexus afm. would i have to worry about anything though with the initial setup before the fuel mods? thanks in advance

I had an intake, DDP, full 3" exhaust, hardpipes, spearco ic, stock AFM and injectors, and shimmed wastegate. I would hit fuel cut on very cold nights, in 4th or 5th as boost would slowly creep to 12-13 psi. Took a shim out and it ran 10psi, creeped to 11 with no fuel cut.

ok cool. hopefully i can pull off the same thing. i think i'll get a mbc first after the break in time so i can have the boost set at a level i know it won't hit FC. thanks for the info

I had my waste gate shimmed, then added the ddp and hit fuel cut. I just took some washers out of the wg and all was good after that.
