You Should Contact Honest Abe Who made Flush Mounts for his car, If anything you can use Some of His ideas to help With The bracket set up. I personally Like the Pop-Up Feature, The Supra Looks Kinda strange without em. IMO

Are you aware of the challenge with using separate high and low beam projectors with HID lights? HID lights, due to the way they wear, should be turned on and left on, or turned off and left off.

So, having a separate high beam that needs to be switched on and off regularly is not good. The high beam bulbs will wear out MUCH faster than the low beam. Worse, if you don't set it up to leave the low beam on all the time, THAT one will wear out prematurely as well.

I am not doing flushmounts. They are going to permanatly mounted to make them look like they stopped about halfway. I am not worried about the flashing as I have been doing HID retrofits for a long time and never had a problem. I did once and it was the ballast that went out. I live in the country and usually hit the high beams and they dont get turned back off until I pull into my driveway. The place I get my HID stuff from has a lifetime warranty and they stand behind it 100 % so I have no worries about anything. And I have extra bulbs layin around too. Thank you for letting me know though because some HID noobies dont know flashing HIDs burn them out quicker. The low beams turn on after the engine is running for 15 seconds and turn off when the turbo timer shuts the engine off.

I actually would love to see the NSX headlights on the mkiii. I think they could be interesting if done right. I also like the idea of permanent 'sleepy-eye' projector headlights. Too bad they don't have the 'angel-eye' ring to them... Then again, it's all in how they are presented. In my head, they are awesome. IRL, they may suck unless HOURS are put into them and tons of attention.

I think he's talking about doing these light half-opened like mine. I think it might look Ok. Feel free to use my write up if you need help getting the flip up mechanism to move a shorter distance, it's trickier to do than it appears. I bought a set of TSX projectors that I'm hoping I can put in the same spot as my current PIAA round driving lights I have in there now.

Its very easy to make angel eyes and I most likely will make some up and see what they look like. The way I am making mine I made some plastic trim up besides the stock pieces to make them look finished. When they are done this time (3rd version) I will post pics. But there will be a set of high beam projectors and a set of low beam projectors next to each other. White LED's inside them for during the day all 4 will glow white until they are on.

Thanks for the offer and I have looked your writeup over a couple of times. Mine wont move so I just ran threaded rod under the motor to hold it in place and not vibrate. TSX are great projectors and I have 2 sets sitting here I have no plans for. Was thinkin about fogs but I have 3 sets of blazers as well.

Hmm, I may even decide to give this a try at some point. I have a pretty good idea of what exactly needs to be done. And I have a good idea of what I want the finished product to look like.
