Nice Thread. I'm a supporter of pics ;] I've been here, done that. Did you buy new exhaust studs or are you going to reuse the old ones? 99% of the time, the exhuast nut is siezed on the stud, pull whole thing out. A lot of people tend to use the old ones and over tighten them, Causing the hole to be striped, or when they reheat/cooldown after rebuild they tend to back out/ fallout, stud and all. If you use the old ones(OR new ones), i've found using a super high temp thread locker and tightening them down snug. Then let them sit for a night. When you start the car for the first time after rebuild, it will smell slightly, then thats it. I'd recomend it, just so you don't have an exhaust leak right at the head, which having the leak would pretty much going angainst all the head work you have done already.
