I agree Kai. But......, you can drive it hard as hell and not abuse it. If you aren't under the hood everyday...., you may be neglecting your ride. These cars are fun as hell to drive. I also agree with John and Will. I know I'm going to drive this car hard. So I am building it to be able to withstand my lack of.., finess for a better word. Seriously though. WHY go through the entire BHG process and NOT replace what's lost with what your best money can afford. Dig Deep Lads, MHG's don't grow on tree's. Another Q is what mm do you want it to be. I am thinking on going with the 2.mm beaded hks. To me, this is strictly for making myself sleep at night knowing that I have a top notch MHG is priceless. ARP studs I preferr. I have just been undecided and swaying over a couple of things. Now...., all I need are the dollar bills ya'll. I know I gain a bit more umphh if I go with a 1.mm 1.5.mm
the 2.mm seems to me to be the best because IMO, The gains acrued with a thin gasket is not worth the wear and tear of my engine. I'd rather put a beefy part into her and make her work to carry it, no pun intended, than put something flimsy and light weight, making my supra seem like something it really isn't. That's the mentallity that keeps your shit broken down. Sorry for the s word Ian. Long time no a$$ chewings, LOL.
