Add one more MA70 to the BHG Crew.

Tonight, I walked into Little Cesears to grab some Hot-n-ready pizzas and I left the car running for the GF who wanted to wait in the car.

As I'm waiting for the pizzas, I see my GF walk into the store and told me the car started smoking like crazy and turned the car off.

*Fuck*

So I come out side with the food to see my Supra had pissed itself. And its now soaking in its own 'urine'.

I pop the hood and I see a gaping hole about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide in the top of my radiator.

*Fuck*

The car is getting towed to my job tomarrow morning where I will start making phone calls and gathering up prices on stuff.

This same thing happened to me. It shot up slightly one day, then a few days later when I was driving...::bhg::

The original 5M-GE on my Mk2 had that issue, All of a sudden a huge cloud of smoke was coming out and the radiator had a hole in it. turns out all that was wrong was a hole in the upper radiator hose. run a compression test after replacing that radiator and see if its really a BHG. Best of luck to ya.

Maybe I am missing something, or maybe I'm ignorant... :dunno:

But how do you go from a hole in the top of the radiator to assuming it's a bhg?

was wondering the same thing. I guess there would only be a hole in it if the coolant had gotten too acidic and ate through:dunno:

maybe because combustion gasses blew the rad cap off? who knows....but i too am confused....maybe his radiator took a shit on him and his head gasket is fine?

was steam commin out of the tail pipe?

yeah i've blown my radiator all to hell after a put a jdm engine in it. most people told me that just from knowing its a jdm motor, thats a head gasket right away, but i just flushed the system for a long while, and it was a year ago, and my head gasket is still strong.

Good to see you getting it fixed back up. You find the air filter adaptor?

Naw, not yet.. really haven't been focusing on that much. Trying to pay off my credit card so I can finish gathering all the parts for my NA-T conversion.

At first I thought my headgasket would be fucked. But I changed the rad and other cooling parts and car runs good now. No smoke.

I was just alittle freaked out at first. overreacted.
