I go out of control when I see these rims:

These are MHT Kwans (maybe Quans, not sure on spelling) which are replicas of the Blitz Type 03's...so hawt!

BTW that's kwnate's old supra...heh actually found the pic quite easily by searching for 'homo blue'

The example I gave was just that, an example (not MKIII) as I said I've seen it on EUROs, last time I checked toyotas aren't euros. And yes there are lips that add OD, they are just larger lips.......I have seen this done as I stated. (I forgot about this thread so I didn't dig up any pics, I'll get on that). I don't think the larger lips looked good, but I was just throwing it out there to see if anyone has done it.

Are you sure that they weren't simply redoing the outer rim of a 3 piece wheel? In any case, I like the idea. I'd love to have a widened set of mkiii 5-spokes, if they didn't cost more than a nice set of mkiv 5-spokes..."lipped" or not.

This was a few years ago that I saw this (when I was looking for wheel options for my bimmer). I know they took smaller OD rims and made them larger OD. May have taken larger 3 piece lips and had them welded on the stockers :dunno:
But the pics I saw showed something like this, the red area would be the "added" lips.

Pic of 3 piece lip, maybe used something like these to do it :dunno:

OK, well I don't know I've really advertised it but I ordered these a month ago ( not here yet ):

The TE37's in 18x9.5 all around. MVP told me I was the only a70 that will have them at least that they know of. They should weight right around 18 lbs a peice in that size :)

I'm a little late on this thread, but good luck with those 18x9.5's fitting on the front. I tried that with my TSW's, and the edge of the rim (inside) hits the steering link at full lock turn-in.:icon_mad: The TSW's are also a 35mm offset. You should have done the 18x8.5's in a 30mm offset for the front. I guess you could put some 10mm spacers on, and you'd probably clear.
Kick-Ass looking wheels though! Let us know how it turns out.

I photochopped these onto someone's car....

niche_f18.sized.jpg

They're Niche F-18's..... 19" rim x 8.5" wide fronts + 10" rears. They're the most beautiful chrome rims:love:

But I'm sure they're heavy... I'd have that set + a set for the track.

If I need a spacer so be it! I wish they came with wider rears... I might get them widened someday ;)

I'd like to see some CCW SP500's on a Mk3. Mk4 guys tend to be much more daring with fitments and offset than Mk3 guys, but they usually have much larger budgets for wheels and such.

Can someone photoshop these onto a white MKIII? These are some of the best quality wheels I've ever seen in person but I've never seen them on a MKIII.

U sure got my vote. Someday I will put some bling on my car. Tired of a white sleeper look and time to wake the that shit up and be heard.

I have a set of those Advan SA3R wheels coming to me from JDMville. Should be sometime this month(hopefully)
