All my stuff is done right at the ECU using Amp PDIG aerospace quality butt splices and the proper tooling for crimping them. Never had a problem. I'm not at all shy about cutting wires

well these are the way's i know re pin the ecu plug hard to find pins in certon area's the best way i find never done ti to my car but going to do it to the 92
there is one wire that will not be repined thou that can be done wiht take sheeting off soder use 3m out door tape and add zap strap
the other way is to take sheeting off soder and tape then zap strap
now for fun the proper way to soder now many peoepl do this and drives me crazy never soder on wire stright up this will cause soder to weep down the sheeting causeing possible water weep age
all ways heat wire then add soder aka tining do the same wiht other side put both wire togther tuch it once with sodering gun done no gobby cold soder joint
all so to much heat is bad cause's drity soder joint cause the flux burns
on big wire i all ways use stright wire and dip in flux and use torch in big ring termales and such
any ways there is the all the info you will ever need
ps like hoe i never mentioned cutting a wire cause that is just plain wroung and hate it esplie if it's sheild wire
