Best way to pressure test an intercooler

Hi Guys,
I've got an intercooler i'm eager to get put on, but as with all things I'd like to make sure that what i'm putting on hasn't got any air leaks.

I've looked around people recommend using Water with a die colour to check for any leaks, but naturally I'd think its different to the pressure it would experience during operation.

What do you most of you do to ensure its ok to install because the last thing I want to do is install it only to find out its not 100%.

go to homedepot or a local hardware store and make a pressure tester found in the tips and tec section and just cap off one of the intercooler ends. then you can really start to monitor the pressure because youll be able to test it at specific pressures. and youll be able to test the entire system when your finished installing it make sure there are no leaks anywhere in the system

cap of one of the ends, make the tester (cap would be a tester without the fitting), pop a compressor on it with a regulator and pump maybe 15-20PSI into it...

toss it in a swimming pool with the hose on the tester and look for bubbles...

that's how I'd do it...
