best way to find out how much life you have in the block with no pistons and head

well got this motor apart and i don't have any piston's in it so how whould mesure it how tall is the block stock

same as with the head as well i remmber IJ posted it hope fully he will chime in

The stock head thickness is 116mm from deck to valve cover sealing surface

Block height...NFI.

sorry but umm that is very dumb answer i guess all just have to install pistons slap head on fill thick oil or water though spark plug to find out then find out were i am sitting at



here is qestion mabye some one whould know if you were to mill the head down to it's lowest and the block what whould the avge comp be

Ryan: From memory the stock block is 198mm from deck to Crank saddle.
(I'll double check to be sure next time I'm in the shed but it wasn't a whole number ie;198 more like 198.5.
