It all depends on how many "dollers" you have to spend.

A BIC DDP, 3" test pipe (BIC sells those, too), 3" or bigger cat-back system, intake and a manual boost controller-just to throw a few out there.

Just don't buy anything cheap. You get what you pay for-as "they" say.

New vacuum lines and molded rubber hoses, along with all the rest of the general maintenance that has likely been neglected over the last 15 years.

After that, intake, 3 inch exhaust & downpipe, gauges, boost controller, MAFT, intercooler and hardpipes, upgraded turbo... in that order. You'd need a better fuel pump and pressure reg. in there somewhere as well.

Have to agree after spending $50 on hoses/clamps over the weekend. All the cracked/split/dry hoses gave me a headache and I still have more to go(ran out of daylight and need to order an accordian hose). It made the biggest difference in how the engine runs.

1) FULL exhaust system 3" or bigger
2) FULL intercooler and piping
3) gauges to monitor

that right there and i'm sure you'll be hitting around 10 PSI even without a boost controller. Free up whatever is there first.

Hey Aaronc222 - remember to order the late (89+) model accodian hose, it's much cheaper for some reason.

I noticed on the online EPC. My local dealer didn't have one and wanted to sell me the new part # for 112. I'll be calling Jay Marks($33) as soon as I have some more cash. The accordian is split up the side, so I need to do it soon.

Just to emphasize GrimJack's post to do your regular routine maintenance before going crazy.

I'd like to think I've kept up with my regular maintenance and also replaced all the stock hoses a few years back - or at least thought I had. Earlier this summer the temp needle on my Supra started climbing and I started smelling that sweet coolant smell that we all fear so badly. I was able to get off the road fairly quickly but then had to wait nearly 2 hours for a tow home - the problem was in an area that would not permit me to simply refill the radiator and try and limp home.

Back at home I found that I had missed one damn hose under the thermostat! DAMNIT!

All it takes is one small part to fail to render all of your hard work and money useless!

Do your routine maintenance FIRST!

Yes the hose Techniques hose kit is good and it covers all the vaccum hoses.

However you shouldn't run petrol or oil in them!

yeah hose teqniques and hightemp silicone kits are great.

the best exhaust system i have seen was in suprastore.com the kit that includes an HKS super drager(or blitz NUR) high flow cat (or test pipe), and a TMS downpipe. from $930 - 1140

unless you call another store and see if they would pricematch (did this and suprastore beat their price after that when i called them up), you are saving at least $200 over suprastores own prices

and definitally a MHG + ARP studs is the best mod you can do for the mkiii no matter what you pay

think about getting new IC pipes as well, esp if you plan to raise the boost of your turbo at all
