If your pump fails, you will not melt a piston. If you have a good EMS, you can have a map to extend pulse width if your pressure drops. Like I said last night in flashchat, there was an MKIV at SP, they were tuning but made a Fuel pressure vs pulse width map before tuning, the pressure dropped at 800HP or somewhere around there and the pulse width was increased. Saved a built motor.
