Depends on the LSD... Torsens are a bit complicated. Clutch types are pretty simple, as are lockers.

Yeah really the only one I'd like to see an in depth look at is Torsen. I understand the mechanics behind it, but a simple demonstration of the principles would be totally neat, haha.

I do like how the logic for lowering the drivehaft is because it is inconvienent for passengers and awkward for luggage...not that a rapidly rotating shaft is horribly unsafe.
