That is crazy someone would go that deep in a project like that, that is absolutley amazing, they might as well made the whole car with all the body they removed, I love the engine though what is it? love how the wastegate sits in the corner over there, that's tight!

I don't think there's much of a back story, they restored a TA64. They seem to do all sorts of old rally cars, and other old sought after cars (old Ferraris, old actual F1 race cars, etc).

Race cars are usually built from brand new shells so have 0 seam sealer or rust proofing but that one looks at the extreme end of the scale ;)
(that's why I asked if it had been recovered from a lake or the ocean)
