What would you guys personally run on a car that still has a AFM?

I was looking at Synapse, but read some very... dissapointing rewiews...
HKS SSQV, but i heard the new ones are non adsjutable which could cause flutter if its too stuff.
Then the GReddy Type RZ, but it has a funny mouth to it and i don't know if i can take it off to be able to run it back into the intake...
Was also looking at the turbo xs bpv
or the forge bpv

What would you guys run?
I run 15psi daily, and might bump it up to 20 if i ever put gogo juice (Race gas) in the tank.

Mods are: Apexi filter, cooleze intake hardpipe, lex afm, 57 trim ct-26, 2.5" ic hardpipes, spearco replica, rc 550's w/ walboro 255, 3" turboback no cat, SAFC Neo for tuning, HKS MHG w/ arp studs, i think thats all that matters performance wise

I have the HKS SSQV but ideally I would run a Tial or HKS Type II racing BOV as my first choices. I have found that MY car has no issue with the BOV venting to atmosphere even when I try to make it stall by making it blow off and pushing in the clutch at the same time. I did try running it with the BOV recirculating and my car behaved the same so I think it is just your choice on what valve to use.

With regard to the new style HKS SSQV which is non-adjustable my understanding is that it automatically adjusts to the car, I personally have no problems with how it works and I am very happy with it.

Get a Tial. I have a Greddy Type-RS but it came with the car. If I could switch for free, I'd get a Tial.

^ I agree.

I love my greddy type s tho and also would like to have a tial. Too many people have the hks and it got old rather quick for me.

I dont dig the rattle snake bov's.

you dont NEEEEEED one to do that.....but tial does make a recirc type bov

Personally, I NEED ONE, to do that. I ran a non recirc bov before (HKS Knockoff) and it caused my car to buck/stall out when it dumped. Some cars get away with it, some don't. Mine doesnt.

One that works.

Indeed!

No such thing as BEST. It either works or it does not. Of course the IDEAL BOV will let out enough air not to make the compressor surge but keep enough air in the intake system so the turbo does not have to do ALL that work once again.

Everyones mileage will vary.

(Not directed at Fubar but the rest of you saying that it does not matter).

In fubar case, it does. Standalones are the exception not the norm. We have been ovr WHY the need for a recirc BOV in the stock TCCS. Do a search for it.
