I searched for twenty minutes for an opinion on the best boost controller before I started this thread. I have an HKS manual boost controller. I'm wanting to go to a digital one. What have some of you guys used and had good luck with? They all seem to be around 350 to 600 dollars. Do they serve any other purpose? Any help would be appreciated. I want to order one pretty quick. Thanks alot.

Lol... my favorite is still the Greddy E-01. Hows that for covering all the bases?

Or maybe the MAFT pro.

If I knew about this earlier this is what I'd have though... definatly look into maft pro...

What would be a good suitable one for a low budget setup? I just want one to control from inside the car and will only be running stock CT26 and maybe 10-12 psi max.
Bascially what's best bang for the buck for a low budget BPU supra?

I would say try the profec-b or something newer. They are a littlie hard to tweek, but the aren't that expensive used.

just get a manual boost controller for like 20 bucks and just get it dialed in to 10psi and call it a day
Agreed. Dr. Jonez sells a fantastic one that works great, it's under $30 if I recall.

If you *must* have an EBC, the profec is the cheapest and works fine for what you are describing.

Any 10-30 psi pressure regulator would work great

Why can you control the max boost per gear. I know the AVCR will do that, just havent plunked down the cash yet. I have Traction issues in first and second and was hoping ot control it with that if needed. YES I already have my eye on tires. But the DR's Im running now are holdin up for now.

I use an air regulator in cab for boost adjustment, but it also requires a dual port actuator to work properly? Or did you mean a bleeder valve? Just wondering.. :)

If I go with the maft-pro, do I do away with my lexus afm? I just did the fuel pump swap to a walbro 255 and bigger injectors. I guess 400 for the maftpro is better than 400 for a good boost controller.

Yes you go with a GM 3" MAF. or you can go MAFless, I'm still doing my research myself and this is most likely what I will go with soon.

I'm glad I could help Aaron. By help, I mean buying an intercooler from you. I've got mine installed, but I haven't got my pipes right yet. I hope to get it finished tomorrow. Make sure you post about the maft pro when you get it installed. I'm very interested in getting one. thanks.
