i had the same problem as you

mine was 2 things. the timing was off. and i need a new cold start injector

good luck though

i have timing issues also.

well everytime i fix the timing, it would be off timing after a drive, car would be misfiring, and yea, car would stall out on the road.

Say what? Where did you pull that information from?

Iridium sucks at BOTH heat conductivity and electrical conductivity! As a matter of fact, heat conductivity is directly related to its electrical conductivity. Iridium is worse than even aluminum in that regards.

I run Iridiums but not because they are good. I need the plugs to survive the CDI-8 ignition system.

You can look it up at any online chemistry site. Iridium does suck at both heat and electrical conductivity, but platinum has about 20 percent less electrical conductivity and less than half as much thermal conductivity as iridium. Since iridium is superior in that aspect and is harder, platinum spark plugs are a waste of money.

Incorrect,

Ir in its purest form is superior but the spark plugs comapnies do not use it in it's purest form.

They also make it a point. Literally. Glow plug with enough heat, unlike copper. Ir can not move the heat away fast enough. So copper or at OEM, the cash saved from Ir (roughly about 300% over plats and a whopping 1000% price increase over Cu plugs) more than compensates the 20% diffeciency, which equates to about a voltage drop of about 4800v in the stock 7m IGN system with plats. That of course not taking the voltage drop of the carbon wound wires either which is greater than the plats will ever exhert on the system.

i use the bkr7e. but it seem the bkr7e's went up. around here they used to be $1.90 something. now there almost $4. is it the same for everyone else?
