bellhousing confusion

ok so i have been tryin to get my hand on a r154 transsmission for about a month now to put on my 1j swap i have a w58 and a friend told me that i can use that yes i kno its a weaker tranny but i'm having it upgraded a little now the main question is the bellhousing for a r154 that i see all over the internet will that bolt up to the w58

no, you need a w58 bell housing from a mkiv (comes stock on the NA mkiv)

ok so i need a bell housing from a 2jzge motor now as far as a clutch and pp i would need it from the same 2jzge right? and what flywheel would be needed to make that work on my 1jz

you need a 2jzge manual flywheel and any w58 clutch setup (the 70$ ebay special should be good enough) and the bellhousing will be a 2jzge bellhousing thats for a manual transmission and after you get a driveshaft (you get this from a non turbo manual mkiii supra) vuala! a drivetrain.
