Shit. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but it looks like i'm going to be evicted from the flat in London.

Does anyone know where i can rent a really cheap 9 or 10square metres of space with a bathroom nearby, kitchen facilities and internet at rates that are less than £333 a month?

I just had my pitiful wages go in and go nowhere, overdraft ate the sodding lot :runaway:

Hold up - 9 or 10 square meters?????? WTF? Dude thats like enough room for my BED. Bathroom nearby??? What, not in the apt? And you have to clarify that you want a kitchen??? Now 650 USD is DAMN CHEAP, but cmon, where are you gonna LIVE?

(Sorry, I was just thinking about the arguments in the gas going up thread, I certainly don't think that's a better standard of living then here.)

Anyway, if eviction is the same as it is here, that's messed up. There's no reason a landlord should EVER need to go to the TONS of trouble and time it takes to evict someone. Sorry to hear you can't make payments but give your landlord my condolences. G/L w/ finding a new place. You'll need it w/ an eviction on your record.

Hehe - well my bedroom is 9 square metres, theres a bathroom in the flat, but right now i need somewhere with a roof overhead - dont care if i have to go outside to take a dump or not!

That £333 a month is just what i pay monthly as part of a flat share, the whole flat is £1000 a month - it's just been bill season, so £280 gas & electric, £141 water bill, £256 phone bill (quarterly) and £1200 council tax (yearly) means my overdraft is worn out completely :/

I *may* be able to avoid eviction, but i'm already having to borrow money off friends, which sucks.

Larger living area is fine mike - but.....over here - larger than about 11m2 is virtually impossible in the London area. Outside of london the prices drop dramatically, but it'll be a pain to do that already - as i have no deposit money to put down for a new place, unless they want to sign my car over as collateral!
