I'm guessing you're 19-20 years old and your car has more than 140k on it.

I'm not feeling the wheels or the headlight. Not my style at all. Headlight just looks funny on a completely stock looking street car. I've also driven a gutted car once and that was more than enough for me.

Keep it running well and enjoy in good health!

Welcome to the mania. Love the car (of course). I'm with Zach, dont really dig the headlight thing, but hey, it's your car...right? Black rims are OK, just have a polished lip. Looks better imo and none of the automotive purists will flame on ya for it. Engine bay is very nice. Keep it real man.

thanks yall. close zach but, 21 and 125+k. rolling gutted is just temporary for sure. pulling out shitty wiring job by previous owner and fixing some rattles. as far as the headlight, that housing was f-ed up by the previous owner also so i figured what the hell (and AAP recorded 30 degree cooler IATs). lookin into a nice front lip and maybe TRD wing and the rims definitely have to go soon. trying to find a buyer for the stockers before i commit to a new set. the real bitch is gonna be body work. wish i could have been caring for this thing from day one.....

Ain't that the truth. I'm fortunate that even though my Mk3 is 19 years old and has 190k miles it still has really nice looking factory paint and all the vin stickers. Mk4's seem to have a high attrition rate when it comes to bodywork and minor wrecks.

welcome to the forums

Nice MKIV.

I dig the headlight air intake. If it helps from NOT injesting hot nasty underhood air and it works... then it is a good mod in my book :)

still on the stock twins?
