I installed 272 8.68mm of lift cams in today, and the car purrs like a kitten. I got about 10-12inches of vaccum and no lope with the cams dialed in to 0 on the cam gears. The cams are quality cams, and the lobes line up just like the stock cams when set in place. Anyone debating the decision of the 264s or 272s, and want power should go the 272 route if you have new springs. Now all I have to do is get my Wolf ECU installed finally!:naughty: :biglaugh:

These cams are well worth the wait. I installed them in a few hours of work. It's reccomended that you set the cam gears to 0 install, and tune 2 degrees in either direction as need after test driving the setup. This information was given to me from Brian Crower himself. The car at this point is running via VPC, and Emanage. The only issues I had was the car was running rich down low because of less vacuum pressure. I tuned out the Richness at idle and pulled EFI to reset ECU, and it started. I also neeed to adjust the throttle open just a little. After starting and vacumm comes up to 10-12inches I can idle at 750-800rpms with no lope!

Qwikstrike,

Thanks for the report. I thought these cams may never become real and I am happy to hear the good feedback concerning the idle on the 272's. What's your impressions concerning increase in top end power and loss of low end torque. Hopefully, very noticeable and not really noticeable.

So has anybody done a dyno readout with either the BC264 or 272 cams installed so we can see where the improvements are?
Hopefully 264 in a 7MGE would be great.
