I'm currently building an '88T, and I'd like to relocate the battery to the spare tire bay. Can anyone offer any insight on this? I'm not sure the best place to run the cable (from back to front). ie. Interior or Exterior. Thanks!

NewWest, dont put it in the spare tire, Im sure you'll read this somewhere, but just wanted to say, you wanna put it in the far passenger corner...

Good advice
\1. Use a drycell battery it is half the weight & ¾ the dimensions, even the optima gel cells top of the line cant compete.
\2. Use this summit racing battery relocation kit! verry cheap only 45$ it is like a 0 or 1 gauge battery cable clear insulated and comes with fancy after market battery post I paid $45
