I understand this topic is ALL over. But I have yet to find thurough pointers and techniques while doing the swap. Will I run into any common issues and how to attack them. Pointers that you began to use which made some task easier/more efficient.
So far on my list I have.
F1 Stage 3, 6 Puck disc
Pilot/throwout bearings
Lightweight flywheel
1pc Alumunum DS
Slave/Master cylinder
Clutch hose
Pedals
Throwout hub
Clutch fork and mount

If there is anything I'm missing feel free to let me know. I have only purchased the R154 with no housing or shifter aswell

Does the Master Cylinder I buy differ if I have ABS or not?

Any and all help will definately be appreciated. Thanks!!

Jose

ABS=Brakes, nothing to do with a 5 speed swap.

not completely, you need the sensor for abs if you have it on your car. the r154 has the sensor ring in it even if it did not have abs though, just not the sensor on non abs cars.

what do you have to do to keep cruise control is what i need to know?

I assumed if a car had ABS then it's a no brainer to replace the Auto with a 5speed from an ABS car, the only mention of ABS in the original post was about the Clutch master cylinder.

I can only go by what's posted I'm not a mind reader.

I understand, and forgive me for my bad words of choice.
I just don't have 150 to fork out to DriftMotion for their ABS sensor.
Was wondering if it's a definate part that i need.

If you want functional ABS then yes, "should" be able to find all the bits you need from someone here that's killed an ABS equipped trans just pop a post up in wanted.

Awesome, alright. You've been a big help!
I think i've seen your name as Ian? But wouldn't want to come out of the blue calling you that.
