PayPal charged my checking account instead of credit card (usually have money stored in savings and never in checking) so they over drew my account for 3 purchases through PayPal. The total of fees added up to $105 dollars, I immediately called my bank and requested assistance in person. I went to the bank and talked to their agents, they couldn't do anything to assist me in the matter. They could create thousands of accounts and approve countless credit cards, yet they couldn't reverse a transaction and refund my hard earned money. This wasn't the end of it! they thought it would be ok to have me phone in to their customer service line (while I was at their bank..?) I was put on hold for a good 30 minutes.. just so I can be told that nothing could be done. I ended up writing a formal letter to corporate, it took 2 months to get my money!! B of A, you are an asshole. Btw their overdraft protection program isnt really protection, they still charge you 10 dollars each time when the accounts goes into overdraft. <--- another situation I had to deal with because B of A fucked up. I hate them, but I can do nothing.. (still have many accounts with them today.
When you play with fire you get burnt. That is what most larger corporations and buisness are. Fire. They are on fire to make as much money as possible with little or no regards to others in there path. Honestly take your money else where and make a point to B&A that they are asshats, and you do not deal with asshats. Help your local area and economy out by, banking with a local bank, and truly enjoy the old 1 on 1 customer service a local bank would provide. It also makes it easer to obtain a loan if need be for your buisness, as they would know how reliable you are as a customer not a number. Take it for what it is worth my supra friend. Please do not feel that forcing influence you to do anything you do not want to do. :hsugh:
