Does anyone know how good the turbo rebuild kits are and how well they get the job done? I know i've seen the write up on rebuilding the turbo itself but I just want advice on whether I should go that route or not. I'm trying to sell my car soon and I don't wanna sell it with oil blowing out the back of it. It only does it when oil pressure is high and at idle. When I rebuilt the engine the axial play was almost non existant and the radial play was minimal...hence why I left it on there. What should I do!?

If you're just going to be selling the car, I wouldn't bother rebuilding the turbo. (Especially if you have no experience rebuilding turbos, as you could make matters worse by rebuilding it incorrectly).
You may just want to find another turbo to replace the turbo on the engine. If you check the for sale section on here, you can usually find a good turbo for just over $100. Buy a good used one, throw it on your engine, then proceed with the sale.

Great advice^^^^ Even if you were leaning toward rebuilding it.....I would let driftmotion do it, that way you know that its done correctly
I have a stock CT26 that I just had rebuilt by someone that knew what they were doing. New seals, all that good stuff. I only drove it for about 1000 miles after that when the head went. I bought new turbo, new engine build... you get the idea. In any case, I have a stock rebuilt turbo sitting in my garage, and nothing to do with it.
If you want it, let me know, we'll work something out. I have pictures and info. It worked great when I took it off. I have all the hard lines still for it. If you want it so you can put it on and sell the car, we'll work something out.
