Bad CPS connection or Bad CPS... what to do?

car has been running like crap and i know the CPS connection is very bad sometimes car wont start unless the wires are just right and then the car still idles like crap.. and car drives like crap to.. what do i do to fix the CPS??

Usually the CPS wiring connection problem is inside of the connector...if you cut the connector out, and hardwire it, you shouldn't have any more problems.

I soldered my wires together and it got rid of my starting problem, and made my car idle much smoother, and no more bucking under partial throttle acceleration.

yeah i dont ever use feeler gauges. i just set it using voltage. 0-1v is spec, i usually set them at the middle at 0.5v
