I come from a land down under
Going for the most expensive hardest solution first again I see..... :nono:

Take it and have it aligned there's a huge range of adjustment in these cars...

While it's on the hoist carefully inspect it before they start ask their opinion on any worn/damaged parts then relace if needed.
(even if you replace all the bushes it will still need alignment there are no magic bushes)

I'd just feel more comfortable replacing them since they're 20 yrs old.
I'll have it checked tho as long as there's free align after I get bushings..

Can BigOTires/sister company Tire kingdom be trusted to do my alignment or are there better places?

I don't trust anybody or any company with my car...but I don't have an alignment machine so I bite the bullet!

Yeah I did it with my dad once when I was a kid with a measuring tape and teamwork but imho a machine would be well worth it.

Just look around for shops that have a decent alignment machine and more importantly a competent tech that actually cares. My local Toyota dealer has both.

That said, if your car has lived its whole life in your current location, I'd be willing to bet your bushings are fine.

Take it from someone who has done it, swapping all the suspension bushings is NOT a trivial task and is not one that I'm going to repeat on my "new" MK3.
