Lowely MKII not MKIII That's what I changed

Parvin and I built a 425+rwhp MKII and DOMINATED the street racing scene in Atlanta, and beat many MKIV Supras... At TX2K2 Chris was running down the drag strip by
HIMSELF because lots of BPU MKIVs didn't wanna lose to a MKII. And the ones he did
race against, he creamed.

i'm bad, i'm nationwide
i like it jeff

don't think my 2's gonna be hunting down 4's though.

the small block will be more for effect than anything else...

when i roll into vegas next time, i want it to be as plain as the balls on a tall dog what i've done to it!

Well, as the MK4's age, they are starting to become just as "unreliable" as any other old cars. (Toyota builds a great car, but nothing lasts forever.)

Case in point. One of the cars I caravan'd down with (a nice MK4) broke a water pump while in Vegas, and I don't know if it made it home tonight or not. (Just got home myself, but drove the A8.)

And the MK3 dyno was won at just over 630rwhp, so I'm mad at myself for not getting my car done and down there.. (I think I could have won, but I will not know now till next year...)

What's funny is a I had a great time, but only walked around the dyno for a few moments, then left. Walked the show and shine for a few hours, and attended the final presentation. (No drags intrest me when they are basicly MK4 only drags...) Would have done the drive, but it took forever to get the MK4's out of Boise... (Ok, so I was running late myself... LOL.)

Found a great hotel, and I'm going back next year with a working MK3 stroker and a decient sized turbo. :)

and i might piss someone off with this....but i don't understand why these guys feel the need to take up so much parking...in the luxor parking garage, there were a few parked next to an american sports car(i'm not going to get much more descriptive than that) that felt the need to take up two parking spaces apeice.....a major pet peve of mine..its a wonderful car, beleive me, but i think some of thier owners need to get a grip like dude said, thet think theyre driving ferraris...

i used to do that in the infiniti...but only if the parking lot is big enough so that i can park far away, and it wont cause anybody to not be able to park. some people can be such assholes, just swing their doors open and slam into my car. i put a lot of effort in keeping it mint.

but fuck that. now everywhere i go i park in handicap spots. what the fuck are they gonna do? send safeway or tacobell security to come give me a parking ticket? fuck em. most handicap spots have the extra space on the side for vans and shit, so it's like parking in 2 spaces at once for the extra room, but you get to park in the front row at the same time.

back on topic, vegas sucked. i met a few more people, and that was it. everything else was lame. from my tps going out as we're leaving for vegas, to ziggy's sp63 eating a coupler on the way to dyno (which he would have won again since the winner this year was ~80rwhp less than ziggy's winning numbers last year)

none of the big name mk4 drag cars showed up, and the 3 who did broke. jaws gears mk3's and final stage's mk3's didn't make it (the blue final stage mk3 did and won the mk3 unlimited dyno, but with 80hp lessthan last year)

at the track only 3 or 4 mk3's were running. one got kicked off for leaking all over the track and the others were in the high 14's and 15's. the track also had a bunch of vw bugs that were straight race cars. they were towed up to the line and towed back from the end of the track....towed back after their awesome 12 second passes :aigo:

virtual works mk4 blew the motor, wotm broke their cars, and the rrev car had some issues so never made a pass. so the mk4 unlimited class was won by some kid from idaho with a white mk4 in the 10's (it was a pretty nice setup for a personal car) there was also a black drag mk4 that kept almost hitting the wall and then disapeared later.

so vegas sucked this year, at least i got to meet some cool new people. i'll still be there next year though.

Vegas was a blast! I met so many cool people!

I was representing with my Supra Mania shirt at the show and shine!
Jeff noticed my shirt and said hi, and I knew he looked familiar but I couldn't place his face until he said he was part of SM :biglaugh: I thought I had a drive, he came from Canada! Good to meet you Jeff!

All the Supra Sport guys are so cool! I hear the SS dudes really know how to party, I wish I was there the day before!

My friend Aaron was having some problems with the ct26 burning oil so he bought a Boss turbo SS brought with them at a special show price and installed it in the parking lot at the Luxor!

935 Motorsports was there, all the 818 crew was representing, lots of 1jz's, a early and a late model Soarer, of course Driftmotion was there, Andy was showing off his big brake kit (it was so nice I bought it on the spot btw), Nick and Noel from So Cal brought home awards, my good friend Dave had the fastest mk3 at the drags, we hit some great buffets, checked out the "Glitter Gulch" :biglaugh:, got drunk on Sat night after the awards show and went to Coyote Ugly to see my wife and Aaron's girlfriend were dancing on the bar, plus more stuff I am forgetting right now LOL

I'm down in AZ right now for another week, but having been my first year at SILV I have to say it was a damn good time. Got drunk 3 of the 5 nights there, met some cool new people and could put names behind a lot of the faces down there, and got to waste my money downstairs!

Also got to buy my buddy an award...and get him another one, any of you from the awards ceremony must have seen it. Good times, good times.

...too bad I had to ride down with him in the slowest car there. Anybody that walked by the gay blue N/A with the BHG being showcased at the show and shine knows what I rode down in. Damn auto's. I'll join the "just wait till next year" crowd.

my favorite car by far though was the 1JZ dominoes delivery MkIII...that thing was just plain awesome :biglaugh:

Cool!

We did the install, but the custom body modifications I can't take credit for :biglaugh:
He really has enough power for "delivered in 30 minutes or it's free"!
