ahhh...just made it home

have a few (bad pics) prolly not worth posting

is it just me...or does there seem to be (in general terms) a big divide between mk2-3 owners and mk4 owners?there are exceptions to every rule, but most of the mk4 guys really didn't seem to want to "waste their time" with those who had "lesser" cars..mabye i'm just being oversensitive

Trucker: It's pretty well accepted that the Mk4 guys in general think they're elite ;) (there are exceptions to the rule)

Nothing better than coming across one on the road and making them look foolish with a lowly Mk3!

The mk4 is an awesome machine and is in fact better than an MK3, but lets face it it should be it's got 6 years of design on us, a better engine. However mk4 owners act like they are driving ferrari's, when in reality it's an mk3 with a new body better suspesnion and a motor tha has 7m torque and 1jz reliability. I know some mk4 owners are good guys and love all toyota's, but the ones I have ran across are stuck up ignorant fools who know nothing about most toyota's much less the great legend that they currently pilot.

I AGREE TOPIC STARTER :)

Even the newest mk4 is 8 years old, they're just driving around in outdated technology.

You should see the local meets, mk4's take up 2-3 spaces near the front around the tent areas while the mk3's park near the dumpsters and bathrooms.

and i might piss someone off with this....but i don't understand why these guys feel the need to take up so much parking...in the luxor parking garage, there were a few parked next to an american sports car(i'm not going to get much more descriptive than that) that felt the need to take up two parking spaces apeice.....a major pet peve of mine..its a wonderful car, beleive me, but i think some of thier owners need to get a grip like dude said, thet think theyre driving ferraris...

finally! some pics! but why is this in off topic? if someone didnt point a link to it i would have never seen it. its rare i go into this section.

anyway, is this anyone's car on here? that is sucking in some serious hot air. it would make more power using the stock setup than that. not trying to be harsh, just a suggestion.

I take up two spaces from time to time... depends on where I am :)

I really dont want to walk out of mcdonalds, only to find out, some happy meal crazed 5yr. old has put a 4" scratch down to the metal in my door. now if Im at a car meet, most everybody there is cautious of the cars around them so I dont worry as much and only take 1 space.

Mk3 supras have the same compression ratio (8.4:1) as Mk4 supras...I didnt know that...that means were somewhat capable of producing as much power as mk4 supras. Awesome!
