I'm telling you guys, I'll be posting up the OT about me turboing my Metro with that thing. I never knew there was a turbo that size. Looks like a copy of Garrett's smallest turbo after searching, and it turns out that turbo's perfectly sized for my 1.0L .

WOW........ anyway the reason for the Grand National site was to see what turbos they had for other projects around the house! Not having to do with the supra.

Yea, me and KC10mec found not 1 but 2 in decent condition at the junkyard near the base yesterday. Both with full engines. 87' and 84'. I've always loved those cars since my dad had one as his company car in 1987.

I think I'm gonna twin turbocharge my mastiff. She would be sooooo fast :biglaugh:

Sorry if I came across as harsh and I'm not sure if you were joking or not (no real visual cues online) but it's got to be one of the stupidest ideas I've heard put forward then to come back with "it'd look cool" just backed up what I thought!

Garrett has a kit with a turbo pretty damn close to that one for a 400ex :aigo:. I never knew...

Anyways, that turbo is made by I.H.I. if you are familar with them (same company who turbos the Ford Probes, Mazda MX-6 and 626). The actual turbo in the picture is the IHI RHB31 .

i really want to get my hands on one of those. im want to put it on a 5 hp gocart. ive seen a 5hp briggs take about 10 hits with a sixty shot of nitrous. it was still together after that and ran. im sure one could handle that baby turbo.
