it's very strange, i don't seem to have b+ at the diag box???
efi relay - check
efi fuse - check
isc - haven't tried yet
ecu - omg what a pain to check, haven't done so yet

I'm fairly confident if the efi fuse & relay has b+ then so will the rest of the system but why doesn't my check connector have it? :(

from 1990 model GTE as seen here:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=D&P=33

Looks like it should be black with a red stripe. Seems The same wire powers the O2 Sensor. If the O2 sensor has power then you know its good to where that connects and its isolated to just the check connector because the check connector is the only thing on that wire after the O2 sensor connection. O2 sensor power wire is same black with red stripe.

scratch that, had wrong pin on efi main relay

so it would appear the only thing i have is .12v at the 02 sensor, nothing at check connector or isc, i also assume the same for at the ecu

now which way does it go, BATT feeds ecu permanently? and ecu turns on b+ at a certain point? or is b+ permanent? i was thinking of cheating and just jumping 12v on it but if the ecu switches it on at a certain point then that may cause problems.
I shall check ecu connectors tomorrow
(i do have an fcon in place also so i'll do continuity checks between the two to make sure i don't have problems there)

thanks ;)

code 11 has decided to run away so that's fine

when i crank her it's like she's trying to fire but no fuel or not enough, i checked #1 plug and it's dry as.. no firing
i am getting fuel pressure 30 odd psi but question is, are the injectors opening

i'll have a vid soon :)

wholy update batman....

So you have 12v at B+ when the key is on now?

Im guessing you checked continuity between B+ in the check connector and the B-R wire on the 02 sensor itself? you should have continuity there.

and last question, what was this all about? having a starting issue, im 100% assuming, but was that what caused the question of having 12V at B+ in the check connector?

To see if injectors are opening, turn the key on so the fuel pump pressures up, then Pull the fuel pump relay or unplug the fuel pump resistor to cut power to the pump. the pressure should stay roughly 30psi or whatever it gets to on your car. Crank the engine and the pressure should drop quickly as soon as you start cranking from the injectors opening. if you crank and have no large change in fuel pressure your injectors arent opening. Dont just pull the EFI fuese or relay because i believe that will cut power to the injectors. you want to interrupt power flow to the pump and the pump only.

Code 11 isnt in the TSRM
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=26
So im guessing its just flashing on and off to display "Normal" status.

nope she appears all good
i left the cold start temp sender connected and that was making the idle a bit worse so i disconnected it and now idle from cold is better more stable.

I've gotten code 42 but the ect isn't complaining about any speed sensors being faulty so i think where i tapped into for the supermonitor it may have broken the wire to the ecu but left the rest intact so i'll drop the ecu down and do some continuity tests.
Handbrake feels like it's dragging the wheels so i'm gonna pull those off and check it out.

NO oil leaks or water leaks!!! WOOHOOOOOO oil pressure is normal for a stock pump, gauges seem to be behaving for now but i do still have a low battery, not run it for long enough to charge it i don't think (only about 1.5miles). Before the oil temp gauge appeared to have shorted to ground as it went to max and temp gauge failed to even read (and i gotta get used to the F increments haha ;)

Engine itself seems to be fine tho :D

Thanks for the help :)
