I'm venting, so this is going to be quick, innacurate, and vulgar, but listen to this.

I'm trying to get an "Out of Province" Inspection. Aside from the fact that this is the 4th time I've brought it to a different shop, and gotten 25 different opinions, and not one shop is consistent with diagnosing the problems as another shop, here's the latest....

brake pedal and clutch pedal don't have rubber covers
rear windshield washer nossle doesn't work
"Brake Light" words are flashing in the dash (tranny swap)
drivers mirror is a problem (broken glass behind it, new piece over top) exhaust is loose
THE F'IN TIRES ARE DIFFERENT SIZES!?!??! No SHIT! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE!!
:1zhelp:

I am so pissed and fed up. They're looking at this car and comparing it to what it would look like/perform like if it just rolled out of the factory.

:runaway: I'm going insane.

Thanks for reading.

If you need me, I'll be crying myself to sleep on my huge pillow.

so does your car have a problem...or are you trying to pass some sort of inspection....im lost here
The problem is that here in B.C. when you bring a car and want to insure it in this provice you must pass a basic vehicle safety inspection. The thing is that most every shop you go to figures that they got you by the balls because if you don't pass the inspection, you can't insure your car.
So you pay for your inspection ($75ish the last time I had one about 6 years ago.) They pick your car apart if you don't get whatever they say you need fixed by them you'll just have to go some where else and pay for another inspection but that shop could say that some other thing needs to be done, so they can make a buck
It's total b.s. cause you could go and buy a 30 year old beater for $100 thats falling apart and completely unroad worthy and you can insure it with out any problems as long as its not from out of provice.

Your problems don't seem too bad, looks like it could be fixed pretty cheap. When my first supra was inspected they told me all my calipers where siezed and my wheels didn't turn.

wow - they won't pass you because the rear windshield washer nozzle doesn't work.

And I thought California was bad!
