I have to disagree (in a cool kind of way). My oldest has a slight case of Autism. So slight that you can barely tell by his physical atributes. He hates to be told that he can't do something because of his autism, so if he's given a chance, he's feels like a million bucks. My wife & I refuse to treat him any differently than someone without a disability, and we push that mentality on anyone involved in his life. Although he struggles with his school work, he's determined to graduate for highschool, something that is extremely rare for a person with Autism.
