didn't know where to put this, so i threw it in O/T, but as stated...autozone clutches cannot withstand more than 300 tq.... (hey, i'm a cheap bastard, and my stock clutch was toast :biglaugh: )
so, i raced a 350z again tonight... this time from a stop... honk three times, and i lauch at 2,500 rpm... i tried to modulate the clutch, eventally letting off clompletely... it wasn't grabbign at ALL, so after about a second, i just let off the throttle completely. later on after driving a while, i tried to launch from 2.5k rpms again w/ same results, drove around some more and tried to launch from 3k w/ same results:icon_conf guess when i take the tranny out for a re-build (will be very soon as syncro's do NOT work) i'll go w/ a better clutch.
anyone have a good suggestion for a good street clutch capable of holding about 450 tq? (should be making 400-425 tq in about 3-4 months)
