Car has sat in the same place since coming back from ESP... Between working full time, studying, cooking, cleaning and searching for a nanny for the little one, haven't had a chance to do anything since the last update in my thread :(

To be done:
- get the interior back in
- get a cat on the exhaust
- sort out the miss
- blue slip
- rego
- DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm going to be shopping for valvetrain parts, valves (1mm over) etc etc.

Also looking for a bucket arrangement that will cope with serious lift, IJ what are you running in your car valve train wise?

Where does one get the shimless buckets from, are these the Toyota echo ones?

I was looking at the ferrea stuff and there is a few different valves and then normal and titanium retainers. I dont want to cut corners but dont want to buy stuff thats not necessary.

All too hard lol.

And damn the exchange rate :icon_evil

Ah OK

I know there is a limit to what lift you can run with the stock setup. My Brother has a few (12 not sure) under shim buckets but these echo jobs sound the go. How convenient is it that they fit lol.

They were a drop in fit or mods needed? Have you found any need to adjust clearances after you got it going? That would be a prick I guess as you cant just change a shim but need a whole new bucket.

I am hoping with all these top end mods the car will make power more easily and get an improvement in the power curve too.

Makes me think that really my setup was quite underdone previously
