Well mine was the 2.5inch dumps, into 3inch downpipe, no cat, 3inch all the way to a single muffler... so it was probably as loud as or louder than yours pato lol

Now with 2 cats its still freaking loud, so restrictor time, to make it pass EPA and then engineer it all and then piss cops off cos they cant do me for anything:D

my setup is quiet...

Well, the DDP does leak, and when it opens it's loud as hell, but the rest of the time it's very mellow.

3" DDP, 3" high flow spun metalcore cat, 3" stainless exhaust with a resonator back to a magnaflow muffler. NEVER get second glances from cops now...

Yep, modified for a 3" inlet from Raptor Racing. Don't think the guys from down under would like the shipping price on the setup though...

If you do a high speed, high RPM run the exhaust note gets simply amazing sounding too.

damm, your cars a wisper in comparison to mine,

id hate to see what my reading was

no cat, straight through, with a cheap shitty xforce cannon as its only baffle.

loudness for the win :p

So which post was BS?

Yep measured at 4200 rpm......

You blast by an EPA inspector at 5500 rpm his meter goes nuts you then have to go and have it retested.....

Massive PITA .

both are true,
except allthough visually the exhaust looks the same its alot different than when it was tested :p

but, to a cop on the side of the road the papers are good enough

moral of the story, dont drive like a wanker in town or anywhere where cops may be lurking.
easy low revs driving = reletively quite car.
relatively :p

THe hoon laws main BS component is that it is subjective, if you are speeding, were you speeding, or were you hooning? Probably depends on the mood the police officer was in, or his wife the night before (ie did he get some lol)

Well I just scored a real power adding part on Yahoo Japan :biglaugh::biglaugh:

Dan: Agreed they need to clearly define what a hoon is.

Recently they nailed a couple of truck drivers that sped through a roadworks zone on Eastlink and impounded the trucks.

Guy's have probably lost their livelihood from this garbage, who the fuck "hoons" in Semi's?

Well the other week I saw a police car put on its lights just to drive through a red light to get to the station which was on the corner of the intersection. Rather hypocritical I thought, atleast if it was to get to a donut stall it would be understandable
