Most people won't notice the difference, but there is one crutial one. Leather if it gets wet doesn't really get slick, while vinyl does.

Leather shiftknob and steering wheel wrap kicks ass because of this.

leather far to high maintainance and when its clod its cold and when its hot its yeah well sticky!

that being said, i like leather shift knobs and wheels though they wear far too fast.

Take care of em ;)

Vinyl wears faster in my experience, real leather is used for motorcycle gear because of it's abrasion resistance.

How much are they normally? I don't have cashola laying around but I'd definitely be interested in a set in the future.

I think in the GB price was $470+25 postage. I got mine for $490 installed along with gear/handbrake boosts and extra material because I supplied the originals.

How long did it take them to install? I'm worried it's going to take me ages...

Also, do they usually supply extra material if you pay? I would like to get my daughter's car seat done to match... (Including the same SUPRA logo embroidered)

I had to ask for the extra material, it is usually $40 per sqm though. Not sure how long it took him to install though.
