I was out south/east helping some friends and family get their stuff in order for the evacuation. I smell like I've been at the best. damned. bonfire. ever. There's too many damned idiots running driving around the hills and mountains of the area there trying to get a look of the fire. "There's a fire! I should go look at it! Then afterwards, I can hose down my house in hopes that wet stucco repels 15ft. flames!" [/rant]

I called Robert from 935 earlier since I heard the fire was a few miles around his shop. Then.. I got that image in my head of mk3s on fire. :aigo:

Took some pictures last night and today with my crappy cell phone camera (God I miss my T629). My car is fully packed and gassed up waiting to go. The Marines here on base on Camp Pendleton are on stand-by to evacuate. Now, on with the pics.

Man those pics are nuts . We get fires up here most of the time . We just don't have the population denstiy that you guys have. I have a favor to ask some one in San Deigo . My wife's Best friend lives in the Hill Top area is that area in danger? Just wondering if you all have any info I dont know the area very well I was only there once and I spent most of the time at Mission beach

The garage I was storing my Supra in burned to the ground last night, luckily my grandparents had pulled my car out so they could get to some emergency supplies before they evacuated and didn't put the car back. They parked it on the dirt driveway so the fire didn't touch it. Unfortunately it's getting sand blasted as we speak, and there is no where to put it.
